I cannot wait to be a grandma. what's that you say? I'm only 32? well, it's a job that I'm looking forward to just the same. :) you don't have to stay up all night if you don't want to. you don't have to change dirty diapers if you don't want to. you get to buy all sorts of cool things and you finally have the money for them...yes, I'd say being a grandma is going to be pretty dang cool. :)

when stephanie approached me to take pictures of her boys I was super excited and slightly astonished...mostly because she scheduled her appointment only a week after her delivery date.
a week? oh yes, a week.
two things about that...
one, she is the coolest, most resilient mom I have ever met to date! she most definitly has been made to have boys...and adorable boys at that! :)
and two, OF COURSE I said yes...who doesn't want to get to hold and photograph a week old newborn?!
nolan is the newest arrival to jamie + stephanie. I loved getting photograph all the baby fold's, full head of dark hair + cutest littlest feet you will ever see!
luke is the middle man and had me giggling with him all afternoon. he made over a hundred faces during the shoot and especially loved getting to wrestle around with his super cool older brother. :)
and caden is the oldest and is seriously one cool kid...and probably has the coolest hair I've seen on a little boy in a while. :) he did great balancing holding nolan - ever so carefully :) - and wrestling w/ luke all while smiling perfectly at the camera...super cool kid. :)

yeah. it's been one of "those" weeks. no, not one of "those" weeks...but one of "those" weeks! :)
since the conception of 2010 I have literally been running.
in the wee hours of the morning of january 1st I was running in boston to catch my flight home to phoenix in order to shoot a wedding with my amazing sister, yess (that's what I get to call her cause' I've know her for thirty years ;) ) of elizabeth ann photography on saturday january 2nd (pic's coming soon!).
then on the 3rd I was running back to airport to pick up my amazing family and then back to running to church to practice and get ready for sunday 46 (matt and I play worship music w/ tim, joel, jed + ben every sunday for our evening services).
THEN on the 4th I ever-so-wisely :) scheduled two more shoots back to back while trying to get on top of work at the amazing liberty market (which I'm not sure if it counts as work when you work for one of your closest friends!).
to top off my "super duper awesome uphill wonderful challenging fun crazy week" I finished up an art gallery job for a good friend who I suppose technically owns kovach, inc. since he is stephen kovach the fifth. I often wondered on this project what it would feel like to be a "fifth" or "v" if you will :) (I'm pretty sure God didn't make me a fifth b/c I would be the nerdy one saying 'oh, you can just call me "v"' :) he's a super cool guy w/ a TON of responsibility who asked me if I would edit and enlarge a lot of the job site photo's that he had taken in the style that I edit for kreatid. of course I was ecstatic and had entirely too much fun making over 52 pieces of art for their new offices! I felt like asking him a few times "do you know who I am? I'm jenny stamm. the little girl who wore bifoculs. and the grown up who is having entirely too much fun at her "job"." but I refrained and was really pleased with the outcome...I highly recommend enlarging your photo's for art...super personal and super cool!
all this to say...I AM SO THANKFUL and happy this week!
has kreatid been challenging? yes.
have I felt overwhelmed in moments? yes...
but do I love all this? oh, YES!

a few designs

one of the things that I love that I get to do is design.
and I'll confess something to you...I have an obsession with fonts. I don't think you can have too many. I really don't. you can see what kind of mood I am by the fonts I choose for the occasion. pappo's hand - I'm in a funky mood. century gothic - I'm in a simplistic mood. angelica's war - I'm in a dreamy mood. and have come to the point where I recognize many of them in marketing ads that I see on tv. and I loath comic sans serif...something that was once super cool...that was abused...poor c.s.s. :)
anyways here's a few designs that I did for this last christmas season and one wedding invitation...super fun for me!

I loved getting to hang out with Dawn this last week...and am SO excited to be an aunt to her soon-to-be little boy or girl at the end of january! she is going to be an amazing mom!
she totally tolerated me making her take off her jacket in the twenty degree weather, buying baby blocks b/c I had a "vision" :) and making her pose a million times...super fun for me and she did great!
can't wait to meet him/her!
