I forget things. a lot.  I was at the bank the other day and one of the super cool teller's there had written this on the message board in a really cool colorful way.  Odd, sort-of.  I'm not sure how I would feel if my bank teller winked at me.  But then again not so odd and maybe I would. It would make me laugh and not take life so seriously, I think.  We're all inately creative - take after our Father, I think...  well, it made me smile and resolve to remember...so here you go...

the award for coolest brother of the week goes to...

I got to go shoot some seriously cute kids the other day.  Josie is the sweetest little girl with some SERIOUS style (yay, mommy!)  She wasn't super into me being in her face but after about 10 minutes she rolled with it and did a.m.a.z.i.n.g!  But, definitly the award for coolest brother of the day goes to Jaiden!  Besides letting his sister crawl all over him with a smile permanently on his face...he seriously is one of the coolest little men I have ever had the chance to meet...He was super helpful with Josie and never complained once! (even though it was 100 degree's out and he had jeans and a couple layers on at times!)  This boy loves baseball and Art!  My kind of kid!  When I asked what he wanted to be he said and artist but his fallback was to be a veteranarian.  What?!  Yup, he said his "fallback"! :)  Seriously cool little man!  Thanks also to Kristen for being a rockstar and making sure her kids looked awesome!

no, I haven't forgotten about my 365 year of pictures book...I'm having issues with what I want the finished book to look like...random images?  my kids?  a theme?  in the end, I decided I want it to be a journey of me as a photographer and what I shoot...it could be nature, people, objects...whatever...and it's going to be AWESOME :)

Because I want to challenge myself and I'm being inspired by some other photographer's blogs I follow...I'm going to try and post an image a day for a full year. Then at the end of that year, I'm going to make a book out of it with the company that my mom consults for - Heritage Makers. so here goes...! this is simply me and my kids thinking that eggs are funny...and they are :)

illinois in the fall

I'm pretty excited for my trip to Illinois for a photoshoot weekend! I'll be in town October 23rd to the 25th and am already almost 100% booked. If you'd still like a photo shoot with me for that weekend email me! Can't wait to be in the cool fall weather!
