there really isn't anything quite so sweet as little baby toes.
maybe their fingers?
or maybe the little crinkle under their neck?
nope...definitely the lips. yup.
sigh.
let's just say babies are sweetly fascinating...and this little man is no exception :)
they decorated his room in vintage mickey mouse memorabilia, so OF COURSE I had to photograph him
in mickey mouse ears (thank you hannah!)
such a sweet afternoon of getting to love on this boy...I cannot wait to see him grow! :)
these two...
ahhhhhhh, chicago.
the sounds from the traffic throughout the city...the gentle wind as it blows in from the lake.
the smells of multicultural food vendors and from bakeries on the corner...
and these two.
she is a most beautiful person of whom I've had the pleasure of knowing since she was in junior high.
I distinctly remember her love of horses, her sister dressing her hair in braided bear buns (adorable!)
her love of art was what I first connected with...she's an amazing painter and writer :)
but mostly I remember her passion for Jesus...it's contagious.
her desire to be a godly woman in every chapter of her life including dating is something to
sit back at and say "well done." to.
elisabeth & jim elliot's love story was something she came back to again and again...
and to see her with him?
history has repeated itself.
he is busy finishing his internship with misseo dei downtown chicago...
not only does his passion match her's...he's witty, grounded and a perfect match for her.
I genuinely cannot wait to see what the next year holds for them and it was an absolute privilege getting to spend the afternoon with these two love birds! :)
october is going to hold a most beautiful wedding with these two! :)
